Through this comprehensive 8-week online course, you will learn the relevant theory and up to date science behind the benefits of yoga for babies and gain the confidence to practice and teach mindfulness, meditation and relaxation techniques.

You’ll develop the knowledge to lesson plan for your clients through opportunities to practice yoga breathing, poses, games, meditation and relaxation.

The practices you will learn can be taught to parents in person and online to support families and without the need for any extra props.

Training Schedule

Introduction:

Understand what Mindful Baby Yoga is and develop your awareness of its benefits.

Module 1 – Baby Yoga:

Learn the techniques to be able to confidently teach Baby Yoga including yoga poses and safety.

Module 2 – Anatomy & Physiology:

Learn the Anatomy & Physiology of infants and how it relates to Baby Yoga.

Module 3 – Ethics in Teaching:

Learn the ethics to teaching using the background of yoga.

Module 4 – Lesson Planning:

Develop the confidence to create and manage flexible lesson plans for your classes.

Module 5 – Mindfulness:

Learn mindfulness techniques to teach to parents whilst performing Baby Yoga
